My aunt, Reba Jalene Scott Schoen (pronounced Shown) passed away due to lung cancer at 4:00 am this morning, May 28th, 2015, at Charlton Methodist Hospital, 33 years to the day after her mother. Now, she is joyously reunited with her son, Rocky. She is survived by her husband, Roger Schoen of Hutchins, Texas whom she wed on November 24, 1972; sister, Anna Holloway, of Fort Worth, Texas; nephew, John Holloway of Fort Worth, Texas and niece, Deneen Holloway of Weatherford, Texas. A memorial service will be held June 20, 2015 at noon in the home of her sister, Anna Holloway. Her wish was cremation and her ashes to be taken to the peak of Winding Star Mountain, just east of Talihina, in southeastern Oklahoma, where she and her husband, Roger, spent quick get-aways.

On May 15, 2016, her ashes were scattered by her husband at the over-look of Winding Star Mountain as myself and other family members looked on (see photo in the memorial gallery)...
