He was a truck Driver for 14 years and love it to the end. He was a huge Alabama fan. He also loved his wife, children, step children, 3 dogs and all his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Smith, his father-in-law, Ray Wise, and Grandparents, Tom Laymon, Bell Laymon, EL Smith and Betty Smith. Uncle Horace Laymon and Johnny Laymon, Aunt, Edna Cunningham and Cousin, Ken Laymon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kimberly Suzanna Wise Smith; mother, Patsy Jean Smith; Darren Smith, Jr., Mary Smith, Jessica Johnson, Mariah Brooks, Nathanial Smith.
Brothers are Randy Smith, David Smith, Patrick Smith and his 3 dogs; Buddy, Shadow, and Sassy
In lieu of flowers memorial fund can be given to Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens to pay for Darren Funeral expenses in Darren's Memory.
Family will receive friends on Sunday May 31, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, Celebration of his life will be at 3:00 PM, burial to follow in the Gardens.
