Darren Christopher Smith, Sr. 47, of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Meridian, MS. He was born to his parents, Jerry and Patsy Jean Layman Smith on December 20, 1967 in Anniston, AL. Serving Honorably in the United States Army and Attended Pensacola State College.
He was a truck Driver for 14 years and love it to the end. He was a huge Alabama fan. He also loved his wife, children, step children, 3 dogs and all his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Smith, his father-in-law, Ray Wise, and Grandparents, Tom Laymon, Bell Laymon, EL Smith and Betty Smith. Uncle Horace Laymon and Johnny Laymon, Aunt, Edna Cunningham and Cousin, Ken Laymon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kimberly Suzanna Wise Smith; mother, Patsy Jean Smith; Darren Smith, Jr., Mary Smith, Jessica Johnson, Mariah Brooks, Nathanial Smith.
Brothers are Randy Smith, David Smith, Patrick Smith and his 3 dogs; Buddy, Shadow, and Sassy
