Geron Douglas Stone, 74, of Telephone, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at TMC-Bonham, Texas.
Geron Douglas Stone was born September 11, 1940 in Lamar County to Frank Gurvie Stone and Annette (Payne) Stone. He married Ann Carolyn (Keen) Stone on August 23, 1963 in Dallas, TX. Mr. Stone was a machinist for an independent Automatic Plating Shop. He was a member of the Telephone Baptist Church.
Geron is survived by his wife, Ann of the home; son & daughter-in-law, Stephen & Linda Stone of Royse City, TX; son & daughter-in-law, Dewayne & Patricia Stone of Wylie, TX; grandchildren, Amberly Hendriksen & husband Steve, Jacob Stone, Christian Crossley & husband Jonathan, Shelby Stone and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Telephone Baptist Church in Telephone, Texas with the Rev. Bryan Everett presiding with Don Fox assisting. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Strickland, Larry Felts, Ron McKinney, Pete Harris, Brad Jones and Lloyd East.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Crunk, Luther Cantrell, Mark Haywood and Mike McCommas.
Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, Texas.
