Ms. Patty Rose Frost Robinson, age 76, of Tallapoosa, GA, passed away February 25, 2015. She was born October 22, 1938 in Graham, AL to the late A. C. (Anderson Silas) and Lois (Grizzard) Frost. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Pitts and Polly Oldham and brothers, Carvie Lee, James, Norman, Robert and Jack.
Patty was a devoted mother, daughter and sister. She loved her family. She was a foster parent to over 80 children. She always loved her church, Emmanuel Baptist Church, and church family. Mrs. Patty always made time for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Mona) Robinson and Casey Robinson of Tallapoosa; two daughters, Stacy (Charles) Amos of Jacksonville, AL and Alicia (Michael Ray) Hill of Tallapoosa; one brother, Carl (Hazel) Frost of Waco, GA; two sisters, Jane Powers and Kate Malloy both of Franklin, LA; five grandchildren, Brandi (Lanny) Thomas, Tosha (Josh) Williams, Tabitha (Joey) Mathis, Michael Robinson and Bre Ray; nine great-grandchildren, Hunter and Luke Thomas, Kaegen, Haldyn and Branson Williams, Kyndall, Kynleigh, KariAnn Rose, and Jase Mathis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Home going celebration will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Patterson and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Music will be provided by Bonnie Sanders, Casey Robinson and Bryanna and Beth Kelley. Gentleman serving as pallbearers will be Jeffery Puckett, Josh Williams, Gerald Buchanan, Tony Fiveash, Joey Mathis and Corey Finley. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Thomas, Kaegen Williams, Haldyn Williams, Branson Williams, Luke Thomas and Michael Robinson.
Ms. Robinson's final resting place will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowdon, GA with Richard Williams presiding.
Her family will receive friends Friday, February 27 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
