She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewaine R. Gordon in 1980, her second husband, Gene Rush, in September 2014, and her daughter, Barbara Annette Gordon, in 2012.
Survivors include her daughters, Ardice Pennington, Jacqueline Allison, and Carol Dungans, her sisters, Donna Hudson, Karen Smith, and Alice DeGood, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Memorial services were held at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Private family burial of ashes to follow at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
