Yvonne Watson-Britten
Mother Yvonne Watson Britten was born to the late Mr. Percy Holiday and Mrs. Aline Holiday on April 13th 1937 in the town of Clinton, Louisiana. To all who knew her, Yvonne was affectionately known as Mrs. Bonnie. She was a very virtuous woman of God who possessed many talents. Yvonne was gifted with the voice of an angel, had the hands of a pianist, with the spirit of a prayer warrior who taught and preached the Word of God to all who had ears to hear. On January 31st, 2015 at 11:02 p.m., Yvonne departed this life to ascend into the hands of God, her maker at the age of 77. She leaves to cherish her memory three loving and devoted children: two sons; Lloyd Watson, Jr. and Pastor Ken Watson, Sr.; and one daughter, Victoria Renee George. Visiting on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Temple of Greater Healing C.O.G.I.C., located at 11022 Gibbens Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70807 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Days Chapel A.M.E. Church, located at 17721 Highway 10, Clinton, Louisiana 70722. Pastor Ken Watson, Temple of Greater Healing C.O.G.I.C., officiating. Burial in Days Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Clinton, LA, immediately following the service.
