Sherry Lynn Garrett, age 61, of Marietta, GA passed away May 24, 2015. Funeral Services were held at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Interment was at Peaceful Meadows in Dallas, GA. Flowers are accept or donations may be made to the Red Cross or to the Shriners.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mrs. Garrett enjoyed housecleaning for over 20 years, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Robert Wilson Sr. and sister Beverly Ledford.
Survivors include her husband Freddie Garrett, Marietta, GA; children Tina Soverns, Gaylesville, AL and Mark (Stephanie) Hale, Hiram, GA; mother Jean Wilson, Gaylesville, AL; siblings Jerry Robert Wilson, Jr., Louisiana, Donna (Wayne) Brown, Dallas, GA, and David Wilson, Gaylesville, AL; brother-in-Law: Dillard Ledford; grandchildren Michael Buttrum, Destiney Soverns, Mark Hale, Jr., Robert Bobby Soverns and Joseph Hale; several nieces and nephews.
