Josephine was a life-long resident of Akron and a devoted member of St. Martha Catholic Church. She was a retiree of Ohio Bell with thirty-seven years of service. Central to her life were her religion, the company of others, and her family, brothers, Peter, Eliseo, Dante, John, sister Mary McKoski; and the many nieces and nephews who will remember Aunt Jo for her unwavering generosity and thoughtfulness.
The family wishes to thank Angela Adkins, Josephine's devoted caregiver in the last years of her life, as well as the staff of Copley Health Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Trinity Church, Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Blessed Trinity Church.
