Ronald F. Lamb, 52, of Berwick passed away peacefully Friday, May 22, 2015, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born Jan. 2, 1963, in Lakewood, Fla., the son of Arthur M. Lamb and the late Kathy (Brady) Lamb.
Ronald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 161/2 years and the Army for another eight years. His duty assignments included serving in Iraq. He worked for over 13 years as a corrections officer at the State Correctional Facility at Coal Township.
Ron was an avid player of video games. A devoted husband, father, and friend, he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Surviving Ron are his wife of over 18 years, the former Debra Fowler; son, Gregory Bowling, and his wife, Heather, of Berwick; daughter, Meagan Bowling, and her boyfriend, Adam Isherwood, also of Berwick; sister, Donna Everett, and her husband, Danny, of Georgia; four grandchildren; and stepmother, Margaret A. Lamb, of Georgia.
A memorial service including military honors for Ron will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick. The Rev. R. Christopher Dunlap, chaplain at Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice, will serve as the celebrant.
