Steven A. Fletcher, age 70, New London, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was born on April 2, 1945, in New London son of the late Gene and Valaria (Wied) Fletcher.

On December 15, 1977, he was united in marriage to Prudence Restle. He served his country in the US Navy. Steven worked at Curwood for 31 years; retiring in 2011 due to a workplace injury.

He is survived by his wife Prudence; daughter, Kristin (Jeff) Shaw, New London; brothers Terry, Oshkosh and Leon, New London; sister Marilyn (Gene) Henry, Shelbyville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Guy and Brylee.

Funeral services for Steven will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at First Congregation United Church of Christ, New London with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Full military honors will be held. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
