Rita K. Oates, age 93, of Mesa, Arizona, died at 7:76 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Citadel Nursing Home in Mesa, Arizona. She was born on June 24, 1920 in Roundhead, Ohio to the late John and Golda (Corwin) Fay. On April 28, 1956 she married Lewis Oates and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1983. She is also preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Buck and Eleanor Cummins. She retired as a bookkeeper from Strouchs Stationers, Inc. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Grove Cemetery.
