Shirley E. Hendrix, 84 of Auxvasse died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday at Arnold Funeral Home with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Shirley was born on February 13, 1931 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Clarence and Lina (Shelton) Stamper.

On September 11, 1948 in Fulton, Shirley married Lawrence Hendrix and he survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by sons, Larry Hendrix (Peggy) of Auxvasse, and Daryl Hendrix (Diana) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Terrell of Columbia, Laura Sullivan of Dallas, TX, Christina Hendrix of Columbia, and Sarah Hendrix of Dallas, TX; a great-grandson, Jackson Terrell; and a sister, Paula Hays of St. Louis.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial donations are suggested the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson Mexico, MO 65265.
