Ann Linnenbrink, age 91, a lifelong resident of Rich Fountain, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on January 25, 1924, in Rich Fountain, a daughter to the late John and Rose (Rehagen) Krieg. Ann graduated from Sacred Heart School in Rich Fountain. On June 23, 1945, she was united in marriage to Edwin J. Linnenbrink at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. Edwin preceded her in death on April 14, 1990. Ann was employed as a seamstress in a factory making World War II supply items. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm. She was also a cook at Sacred Heart School. Ann was a lifelong and very faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain along with being a member of the St. Ann's Sodality, Quilting Circle and the American Legion Auxiliary in Freeburg. Ann enjoyed quilting, puzzle books, gardening and praying the Rosary, but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ann is survived by: three daughters, Rose Ann Scheulen and her husband Allan, Mary Jane Perkins and her husband Mike, and Jonie Bruemmer and her husband Dennis, all of Rich Fountain; one son, Donnie Linnenbrink and his wife Linda of Linn; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren with another one due in November. In addition to her parents and spouse of 44 years, Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Alphonse Krieg and Tony Krieg; and one sister, Clara Lehmen. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Sacred Heart Church in Rich Fountain with a prayer service being held at 3:30 p.m. There will be an additional visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., also at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with Fr. Phil Niekamp as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to: Hospice Compassus, Sacred Heart School, St. Ann's Sodality or to the Quilting Circle.
