Married to Capt. Jacob C. Bennett, Confederate who was one of the six captains who escaped from Ohio Prison with General John H. Morgan. Capt. Bennett became 2nd sheriff of Clay Co., Tennessee and was working as guard at the Nashville prison when he died in 1904. Capt. Bennett is buried in Donaldson Cemetery, Clay Co., TN with first wife and children. Fanny P. Beazley was his second wife and mother of his daughter, Mary Lee Bennett.
