LaFAYETTE -- Mrs. Mable Freeman, 92, of LaFayette died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. CST at Friendship Baptist Church #1 with the Rev. Cornelius Reese officiating. Burial will follow at Handy Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by one sister, Lovie M. Hughley of Detroit, Mich.; five nieces, Faye Brock of Lanett, Margaret Ferguson and Helen Marie Simmons, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Patti Hughes of New Haven, Conn., and Carolyn James of West Point; five nephews, Charles W. Brock of Columbus, Walter (Zelma) Brock of Lanett, James Hughley of Detroit and Charles (Deloris) Hughley of Lathrup Village, Mich.; two cousins-friends, Bertha Farier and Charlene Johnson, both of Cincinnati; a very special son, Joe Todd of LaFayette; and friend and comforter, Barbara Reese of LaFayette.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Chambers County on March 25, 1912.
The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 14 at Silmon/Seroyer Funeral Home from 6 until 7 p.m. CST.
