Clark Feltch passed away last Tuesday

M. Clark Feltch, 86, passed away in the Ashley Valley Medical Center on Jan. 14, 1992.

He was born on March 14, 1905, to Fred Agusta and Katherine Johanna Leahy Feltch in Fraser, Colo.

Feltch married Silvia Allred, later divorced, and married Lulla M. Karren in 1983 at Klamath Fall, Oregon.

He was a rancher and a former employee for the BLM. Feltch was a member of the Cattlemans Association and past president of the Uintah Co. Cattlemens Association, He enjoyed being on the mountain, fishing and hunting. Preceding him in death are son and brother, Gary Feltch and Francis Feltch.

He is survived by wife of Vernal, step-children, Rex Skanchy of Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Ed (Jean) Fowler of Ashland, Ore., Paul Skanchy of Roahnart, Calif., Thomas Craig Skanchy of Washington D.C., Robert Bruce Skanchy of Sandy, Lewis Skanchy of Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers. and sister, Fred Feltch Jr. of Vernal, A. Pierce Feltch of Springville, and Alice Feltch of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services were held on Jan 17, at 11 a.m. at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Bishop Paul Andrews conducted the services.

Prelude and postlude music was played by Daun DeJournette. The invocation was offered by Kenneth Karren and Bishop Andrews gave some remarks. Doris Burton spoke and "Red River Valley" was played by Daun DeJoumette, Dorothy Luck, Troy Burton and accompa- nied by Doris Burton. T.C. Skanchy spoke. Phyllis Andrews and Kathy Deets offered a musical number, "In This Very Room." Bart Bennion spoke and the Skanchy grandchil- dren sang. Brent Feltch offered the benediction.

Pallbearers were Paul Feltch, Bruce Skanchy, Tim Faircloth, Troy Burton, Paul Skanchy and Bill Stroh.

Honorary pallbearers were Bill Karren, Elmo Hardy, Dee Brough, Hoyle Robinson and Charles Henderson.

Compassionate services were of- fered by the Vernal Ninth Ward.

The dedication of the grave was by Lewis Skanchy. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson's Vernal

Mortuary.
