Donna had round the clock hand holding and singing of favorite songs with family, friends, and devoted and loving caregivers. Donna was born the oldest of 11 children on June 15, 1937 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. She grew up in Alaska, married and had 6 children before the Family moved to Oregon, and completed the family with one more child which made 7.
Donna loved playing bingo, and volunteered at the school, and with the senior meals program.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother James and Vera; brother and sisters: Laurence, Shirley and Joyce; and grandson Ian Kenneth Cate Jr.
She is survived by 7 brothers and sisters: Marilyn, Jim, Vern, Nancy, Teresa, Dale and Raymond; her 7 children: John, Jerry, James, Danny Loberg, Susan Pimentel, Laura Horton, and Karen Crane; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Lane Memorial Gardens, Sat. May 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
