Elliott A. Donovan, 86, Route 3, a resident of Port Ontario for more than 40 years, died Saturday morning at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Hager officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.
Surviving are two step-sons, Harry Bailey, Phoenix, Ariz., and Percival Dee Bailey, Lihue, Hawaii; a sister, Avis Widrig, Richland; nine step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in 1902 in Richland, a son of John and Frances Noyes Donovan, he attended Richland District schools. He married Luella E. Bailey. She died Nov. 8.
Mr. Donovan was a partner in Ahbee, Gilmour and Donovan Masons for many years. He was a life member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen International, and a member of Oswego Local 54 of Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers, retiring in 1964.
Mr. Donovan was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sandy Creek.

Elliott A. Donovan, 86, of Route 3 died Saturday morning at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital.

A native of Richland, Mr. Donovan attended Richland District Schools.

Since 1940, Mr. Donovan had lived in Port Ontario, where he was a partner in Ashbee and Gilmour and Donovan Masons for many years.

Mr. Donovan was a member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman International Union for over 50 years and a member of Oswego Local No. 54 of Bricklayers Masons and Plasterers. He retired in 1964.

His wife, Louella E. Bailey, died Nov. 8.

He is survived by two stepsons, Harry Bailey of Phoenix and Percival Dee Bailey of Lihue, Hawaii; one sister, Avis Widrig of Richland; nine step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
