Bob Hogan, 77, of Amarillo died Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.

Bob was born in Beaver Falls, Pa. He served in the Air Force. He moved to Amarillo in 1963 from Oklahoma City. Bob owned and operated several service stations in Amarillo.

Bob was an extraordinary father, grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger. He was always helping other that were less fortunate than himself. Bob was an avid fisherman. He loved spending quality time with his two grandchildren. Bob was a generous person and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Teri Hooper and husband Dale and Elaine Flowers and husband Greg, all of Amarillo; a son, Dann Hogan and wife Debbie of Phoenix; his former wife, Carol Hogan of Amarillo; and two grandchildren, Shanna Hogan and Daniel Hogan, both of Phoenix.

The family suggests memorials be to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
