Boyd Landrum Arnold, Jr., 80, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet.
Mr. Arnold was born, December 4, 1924, in Monroe, Georgia, the son of the late Boyd L. Arnold and Emma Lou Arnold. He served as a chief petty officer in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Arnold was a forester who retired from Great Southern Paper Company. He was a member of Indiantown Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are: his, Frances W. Arnold of Pawley's Island; a son Michael B. Arnold and his wife Janice of Pawley's Island; and two granddaughters, Erin R. Arnold of Concord, N. C. and Laura B. Arnold of Pawley's Island.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown on Friday, August 12, 2005.
