Jimmie White
Funeral services for Jimmie Rudolph White, 60, of League City, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Porter Chapel, Wortham; officiating will be the Rev. O.D. Christian. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery.
Mr. White, a veteran with the U.S. Navy, died Thursday in an Austin hospital, and was born near Streetman, in Freestone County, on June 30, 1935. He was an electrician with the Chevron Refinery at League City.
Surviving are his wife, Virgie Lanell White of League City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Travis R. White of Kirvin; three daughters, Carol Lynn Cox of Groesbeck, Sharon D. Graves of Evergreen, Colo., and Connie Rachelle Yarbrough of League City; three sons, James T. White of Houston, Ellis Paul Thahan of Kemah and Patrick Duane Trahan of League City; a brother, Charles Bertrand White of Kirvin, and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Don Ray Smith, Roy Trahan, Bobbie Bell, Joel Sumerrall, Charles Coward and David Worthy.
