Paul E. McDade, age 89, of Magnolia, passed away Sunday morning in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. He was born in East Sparta, a son of the late Okey and Cressa Gill McDade, and was a life resident. Paul retired in 1995 from Grodhaus & Young in Waynesburg, after over 20 years service, where he was purchasing agent. Previously he worked 22 years at the U. S. Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta, and also laid tile for numerous people for many years. Paul served in the Army Air Force during World War II. Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice McDade. Survived by his wife, Hope M. McDade, with whom he celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on August 8.A private service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with his brother, Walter McDade, officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Sandyville. There will be no calling hours.
