Saginaw News, c. May 18 1953: "Arndt, Mrs. Katherine Maria Eurich, 4680 Wall Street, Saginaw Township -- Passed away late Monday afternoon. Age 63 years. Katherine Spindler was born Aug 30 1889, in Rhinehart, Russia, and came to Michigan in 1903. She was married to Fred Eurich, April 7, 1904. He passed away Jan. 5, 1936. In May, 1940, she was married to George Arndt, of Flint. He passed away in 1942. Surviving are four sons and two daughters, John, Henry, Walter, and Harold Eurich, Mrs. Gus Zednick, all of Saginaw; Mrs. David W. Bare, Grand Blanc; 12 grandchildren, also two sisters and one brother, John, and Amelia Spindler, both of Saginaw; Mrs. Jacob Aab, Flint. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Case Chapel. Rev. Oscar Frey will officiate, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 pm Tuesday."
