Funeral services for Gwen Beatrice White, age 91, of Early, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the May Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
Gwen passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015.
Gwen was born on October 13, 1923 in Stanton to Beatrice West Anderson and Hugh Bailey Anderson.
She married H. Dean White on January 19, 1946.
She was a much beloved Mother of six children.
She was preceded in death by her only son, H. Dean White, Jr.
Gwen is survived by her husband, H. Dean White, Sr. of Early, her five daughters, Sharon Stradley and her husband, Paul of Wichita Falls, Rhonda Tanguma and husband, Noel of Elgin, Carolyn Davidson husband Charles of Austin, and Vanessa White of Elgin, Tina Crelia and husband Bobby Hoyt Crelia of Early. She is also survived by a sister, Jo Taff of Hull, and a brother, John Bailey Anderson of Dumas, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Gwen devoted her entire life to loving and taking care of her family, and she will be missed.
