She was born at Mission San Francisco de Asís, commonly known as Mission Delores, near the pueblo of Yerba Buena (currently downtown San Francisco, California).

She was the daughter of the man who served as the 1st and 5th alcalde of Yerba Buena/San Francisco: Don Francisco de Haro.

She was also the niece of the 8th alcalde and of the 11th alcalde of San Francisco: Don Francisco Sánchez, and Don José de la Cruz Sánchez.

Her first husband was Agustin Andrews.
Her second husband was Charles Brown.

BROWN - In this city, June 27, Rosalia De Haro, beloved wife of the late Charles Brown and beloved mother of William A. Andrews, Mrs. C. B. Mahon, Amelia Brown, Mrs. F. E. Caler and Mrs. F. P. McQuinn, a native of California, aged 72 years 10 months and 23 days.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral tomorrow from her late residence, 240 Dolores street, at 8:30 a. m. thence to Mission Dolores Church, where a requiem high mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9 a. m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
