Mrs. Deaton of Winder passed away at the Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Georgia. A daughter of the late Howard O. and Julia Ruth Norris Adams. She had resided in Barrow County for most of her life. Mrs. Deaton was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Deaton in 1983. She had attended Chapel Christian Church and was a retiree of Barrow Manufacturing Company.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Daley officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday May 25, 2015 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
