We met and fell in love in 1971. You 18, me 16. Even then I (Fran Maure Clark) knew you were the one. We married on June 8, 1974.

Through our journey together, our love gave us four beautiful children; Shad, Sam (Stacy Morgan), Angie (Chad Love) and Brad Jr (better known as Birdie) and his wife Denise. To them you were not only the best dad, but will always be their "Hero".

Through our children, we were blessed with three precious grandchildren, whom you adored; Ethan Bradley Clark, Leah Renae Clark, and Ariana Cencelewski. Morgan Thoma, Raegan Grosselin, and Jordan Hix were also honored to call you "Papa".

You are survived by so many who's lives have forever been changed due to your love, strength, and courage, fighting MS most of your life; Your sister, Kathleen (John) Szuba and family. Special brother Bob (Patti) Clark, and John. Brother Ken (Susan) Clark and family.

You were not only a "brother in law" but also a second father to Tami (Maure)Thompson, and her children, Nicole Maure and her girls, Jayden and Joslyn Patterson. Olivia Thompson (Phil Flickinger), Kaylee Valentine, and Ali Thompson. Frankie Maure(Sue) and their children, Jonathon(deceased)and his daughter, Ryleigh Maure and Jillian and her daughter, Anabelle Gonzales. Michael Maure, Cari Maure (Criss) Rickey and their family, Sara Rickey and her children, Criss Jon(Jackie) Rickey and their children, and Cari Lyn Elemerick (Shea). Also mourning your loss is Patricia Maure Ragonesi (mother in law) and the newest member to the family, your fury friend, Shiloh.

Greeting you home to your final journey was not only God, but your beloved mother, Mary Charlotte (Sceper) Clark , father in law, John Maure, and your beloved nephew, Jonathon Maure. And I know Potus, your fury beloved friend, was also there.

Graduating from Jackson High School, in 1971, you went on to Purdue University, where you co-oped as a supervisor with US Steel. That wasn't your only talent, though. You could take houses others balked at and turn them into beautiful homes. You built your family the most beautiful" homestead" which will always be our home. You are forever present inside and out.

Your love of boating and Corvettes(especially your 63' Split Window Coupe) lives on through your children and grandchildren. Through your hard work and love, we thank you for all the memories that we made at the lake house. We will always celebrate your favorite "4th of July" holiday, under the fireworks on Lake Wawasee . This year when the grand finale comes we will know it is you, celebrating with us and wishing Shad a Happy Birthday.

My heart will be forever broken, but I will always remember the "I Love You" that was gently spoken. You were not only my husband but my best friend.

We love and miss you, Brad, Dad, Papa, Uncle, Brother and Friend.

God looked around His garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest; God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb; so He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered, "peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
