Shannon M. Taylor, age 42, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. She was born August 16, 1972 and was preceded in death by her father Earl Edward Akers, a brother Bradley Steven Akers and Nannie Willie LaRue.
Survivors include, mother and step-father, Brenda Akers Bevil and Philip; two sons, Steven Edward “Kaine” and Curtis David “C.J.” Taylor; grandson, Caden Levi Akers; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Debbie Akers; grandmother, Mary Goodman; two step-brothers and spouses, Scottie and Jody Bevil and Phillip Lee and Kim Bevil; half-sister, Earlene Akers Perry; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Barnett Funeral Home in with Reverend Randall Lawrence and Reverend Sonny Ayers officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Dublin, VA.
