Kathryn E. Elliott passed away June 25, 2013 at Good Samaritan Village, Fort Collins, Colorado at the age of 102. She had been a resident of Fort Collins for 89 years.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the Chapel of Good Samaritan Village in Fort Collins, with the Pastor Leroy Grimm and Chaplain Steve Ketterman officiating.

She was born October 31, 1910 in Mill Shoals, Illinois to Cecil and Jessie Cantrell. The family moved to Fort Collins in 1924 where she and her sister attended Franklin Elementary, Lincoln Junior High and Fort Collins High School.

Kathryn married Gerald E. Elliott on November 7, 1931 in Kimball, Nebraska.

She was employed by Larimer County for 23 years as a secretary to the county Commissioners, as a clerk in the Assessor's Office and retired as a draftsman for the Planning Office.

Kathryn was an active member of the Fort Collins Quota Club for 30 years and was a Past Governor of Ninth District of Quota International. She loved to travel; was a daily solver of crossword puzzles and produced quantities of crocheted products.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter, "adopted daughter," three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, niece, two nephews and several grand nieces and nephews [survivors names omitted].

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Elliott; her parents Cecil and Jessie Cantrell; and her sister, Helen Spurrier.
