Charlene Marie Baylor Powell, 74, of Moores Hill, IN, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 in Lawrenceburg, IN.She was born Tuesday, May 13, 1941 in Milan, Indiana.

Daughter of the late Charles Baylor and the late Marie McKittrick Baylor.

She worked as a Vault Teller for Peoples Federal Savings Bank, retiring after many years of service.

Charlene was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Aurora and Tri Kappa Sorority.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, working in her flower garden, hummingbirds and designing floral arrangements.

She loved to spend time with her family especially time with her granddaughters.

Surviving are her loving husband of 49 years, Jerald "Jerry Powell of Moores Hill, IN; Sons, Jerald "Jerry" (Bridgett) Powell of Aurora, IN, Christopher "Chris" (Heather) Powell of Aurora, IN; Siblings, Kay Bean, Jack (Cathy) Baylor, Lennie (Rusty) Lynd, Charles (Vickie) Baylor and Cindy McKittrick of Milan, IN; Granddaughters, Allie, Rileigh, Kayla and Sienna.

Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, May 29, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Road, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Aurora, Saturday, at 11:00 am.Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
