Her many friends were painfully shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. William T. Truckey, which occurred at her home, 221 South Sycamore street, at 11:50 a.m. Monday, following a week's illness from septic erysipelas. For the past few days her condition had been critical. She was 50 years, ten months old at the time of her demise.

Besides her bereaved husband, she is survived by four children, Jeanette, Charles, Margaret and Robert, as also her mother, Mrs. Cosgrave, who has made her home with her daughter for several years, three brothers and one sister. A daughter, Lucille, passed away about two years ago. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church. Friends of the family desiring to view the remains may do so at the Buchholt-O'Loughlin undertaking parlors at any time Tuesday afternoon.
