Bobbie Rogers Hogan, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2015.
Affectionately known as “Nana,” Bobbie fought a strong and courageous battle with cancer 3 times.
She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she worked in the kitchen and Bible School for many years.
She was an avid bowler in her earlier years and enjoyed sewing, visiting the beach and going to Cherokee. Bobbie retired from Planters Snacks after over 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lula Rogers; brothers, Ed, June and Rev. Arlie Rogers and sister, Yvonne “Nonnie” Oliver.
Survivors are her daughters, Jana Harris and Cindy Hogan; granddaughters, Heather Phelps and Tara Harris; great-grandson, Oliver Phelps all of Chattanooga; sisters, Carol (Gil) Moon, Chattanooga and Linda (Freddie) Waters, Birchwood; brother, Fred (Mary) Rogers, Red Bank and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Mitch Oliver, Mike Oliver, Jamey Moon, Xan Hamilton, Thomas Phelps and Terry Stillwell serving as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank their family and friends and Hearth Hospice for their love,support and kindness during Bobbie’s illness.
