Cindy Lynn May, 63, passed away comfortably with the help of Dr. Askari and Family Care Hospice on Tuesday May 15, 2012.
She was born July 30, 1948 in Phoenix to William 'Bill' and Dorothy (Deal) Wesolek.
She moved to the Prescott/Prescott Valley area in 1980. She loved people and enjoyed life as a waitress in Prescott and Prescott Valley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert May on May 5th, 2012, her father Bill Wesolek in 1999, and brothers, Randy in 2006 and Robert in 2008.
Cindy is survived by her mother Dorothy Wesolek of Prescott Valley, her daughter, Heidi (John) Halliburton of Prescott Valley, Laura Hopper of Prescott, brother Rick Wesolek of Prescott. She leaves 5 grandchildren: Brandon Shandley of CA, Sean (Brandi) Hopper, Kari Halliburton of Prescott Valley, and Alexa & Brandon Hopper-Barraza of Prescott. "She loved to joke that her grandkids started and stopped with Brandon!" She had one great-granddaughter along with a large family of great nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Cindy moved to Colorado for 12 years but when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer she immediately moved back to Prescott Valley to be with family.
The family trusted Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley with a private cremation for Cindy.
