Du BOIS — Stephen A. Alsbaugh, 83, of 72 Lincoln Drive, died Sunday at his home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1909, in Sabula, the son of Duncan and Nellie Dunlap Alsbaugh. He was married to Lucille Row Alsbaugh. She preceded him in death Dec. 13, 1979.
He later married Thelma Jean Wheeler Alsbaugh. She survives.
He was a self-employed trucker.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James (Jane Ann) Shaffer of RD4, DuBois; a stepdaughter, Linda Ammerman of Elizabethtown; a brother, Sam Alsbaugh of DuBois; three sisters, Daisy Duttry of DuBois, Sadie Beer of Youngstown, Ohio, and Alberta Kriner of RD, Brookville; one granddaughter and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and one sister.
