His parents are Rick and Carolyn Null Cannon. Dan attended and grew up in High Ground Christian Center, was a member of First Assembly of God Church and attended the Life Center. Music was Dan's life. He was a gifted vocalist, winning many awards for his vocal performances throughout the years. Dan loved spending time with his husband, family and his cats. Dan was a 1988 graduate of Terre Haute Bible Baptist, where he graduated with honors. he was also a 2013 honors graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, with a degree in business management. Dan worked for Ross Elliott Jeweler's for over 20 years.
