Robert was a graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA with a B.S. in Chemistry. He proudly served his country as a Lieutenant Junior Grade, U.S. Navy in the Korean War. He spent his professional career in Chemical sales and process development in the petroleum industry.
Passions included his family, sports, and old, black and white war movies. He was a member of San Juan del Rio Catholic Church.
Mr. Linton was a devoted husband to wife, Georgia; father of Robert, Jr., AnnMarie and Joseph, and grandfather of twelve.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, April 25, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
