Easton Express, Friday, September 26, 1941 page 24 -James McKeen Young, 77 years old a native of Easton, died on Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary McKeen Young James, at Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a son of the late William and Jane McKeen Young, of this city, and attended Lafayette College as a member of the class of 1885. He was manager of the Easton Brass Works, was in the crockery business here and for a time was in the employ of the Alpha Portland Cement Company at Cementon, N.Y. He also resided in Florida and of recent years had been retired. Mr. Young was twice married and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary McKeen Young James of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and two grandchildren, Warren T. James and Elizabeth Raesly James. He was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity and a former member of Easton Lodge of Elks. The body will be brought to this city tomorrow afternoon at 1'o'clock and services will be held at the family plot in the Easton Cemetery.
