MANSFIELD: Patricia Ann Copeland, 70, of Mansfield died Friday morning, May 15, 2015, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland after a brief illness.
Patricia was born May 13, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio to Fredrick Schmidt and Katherine (Brauchler) Schmidt.
Patricia had worked for Hi-Stat Mfg. in Lexington for years. She was a graduate of Ontario High School and had obtained her Cosmetology License in Columbus, Ohio. Patricia was an avid sports fan of basketball and football and she was very fond of Ohio State. She was a meticulous person in everything she did.
She will be deeply missed. She is a survived by two nieces, Connie Noble, of Medina, Cathy Partin, of Mansfield; sister in law, Peggy Schmidt, of Mansfield; two uncles and aunts, Robert and June Brauchler, of Mansfield, and Charles and Marge Brauchler, of Mansfield.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick; mother, Katherine; brother, Robert F. Schmidt; nephew, Michael R. Schmidt all of Mansfield.
She was also preceded in death by four maternal aunts, Julia, Anna, Elizabeth and Margaret; three maternal uncles, Peter, John and Louis.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later date and her final place of rest will be at the Mansfield Cemetery.
