Born Penelope Ann Palmer in 1939, my mother spent the first 5 years of her life in Denver Colorado, until her father obtained a job with Sandia Laboratory in Albuquerque, NM after the end of WWII.

Becoming of age in Albuquerque in the 1950's, my mother attended Valley High School, and later went on to pursue a career in hair dressing.

In 1958 she married Billy Bob Womack and had my brother Mechell Scott in June of 1959.

Shortly after Scott's birth, she divorced Billy and soon met my father, Joseph Arthur Prince Jr. (a.k.a. Bob Arthur).
