Raymond Moreno, 56, was born in California on August 2, 1957 and passed away on March 26, 2014 in Lynwood, Ca. He was raised in Montebello and attended Montebello High School Class of 1975. Raymond was a member of the Montebello Oiler Band. He carried a California Commercial drivers license and was an over the road truck driver for the past 40 years. Raymond enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he had a big heart and was always there to give a helping hand and give support. He was a member of Lifestyle Car Club since 1976, he was known by "Spy", he got his name because he knew members from another car club and when he joined Lifestyle some members thought he was a spy for the other car club. Ray was the Fundraising Chair for American Cancer Society Montebello Relay for Life. He was also active in the City of Montebello and worked on numerous community events.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 5:00-9:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 9:00 am at St. Benedict Church.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Sarah R. Moreno of La Habra, his mother, Violet Moreno of Montebello, his sisters, Yolanda Moreno of Moreno Valley and Vivian Garcia of Montebello, his nieces, Kathy Moreno, Marcella Perchez, Monique "Nikki" Gonzalez, Michelle Moreno, Stephanie Moreno, his nephew and godson John Paul Garcia Jr., and his great nieces and nephews Raymond Moreno, Jeeb Gonzalez, Alicia Alvarado, Michael Alvarado, Christopher Moreno, Ann Marie Moreno, Brody Perchez, Brandon Perchez, and Maya Moreno.
