Wanda Stumph Warner, 69, of Scenic Drive, Harrodsburg, formerly of Bloomfield, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. She was the wife of James R. Warner. Born Sept. 8, 1933, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Nannie Lou Darland Stumph.

She was a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, where she served as a deacon and an officer of Friendship Circle. She was a member of Bloomfield Christian Church for 42 years, where she served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and C.W.F. president, sand in the choir and was a 16-year presenter at the Community Tree of Life. She was a 1951 graduate of Mackville High School and retired from the Nelson County school system after 25 years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Barry (Mary Jane) Warner, of Winchester, and Jeff (Sherri) Warner, of Georgetown; three brothers, Albert Stumph and Donald Stumph, both of Harrodsburg, and Sam (Barbara) Stumph, of Mackville; two sisters, June (Stan) Green, of Harrodsburg, and Bertie (Jess) Todd, of Seattle, Wash.; three granddaughters, Kendall, Sarah and Katie Warner; and a grandson, Brandon Warner.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 6, 2003, at Bloomfield Christian Church with Don Chase and Tom Pierce officiating. Burial was in the Chaplin Highview Cemetery. Casket bearers were Brandon Warner, Rob Walker, Ken Walker, Brenda Stewart, Teresa Miller and Donnie Stumph. Honorary bearers were members of the Bloomfield Christian Church choir, Sunday school class and C.W.F.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrodsburg Christian Church Renovation Fund or the Bloomfield Christian Church Memorial Fund. Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home in Harrodsburg was in charge of arrangements.
