Daniel Raymond Boyett, 44, of Waco, TX has been identified as one of nine men killed Sunday during a shootout between rival motorcycle clubs and police at a Waco, Texas restaurant.

The eight others were:

Daniel "Danny" Boyett, age 44, of Waco passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Waco.

Private services were held.

Danny was born May 1, 1971 in Houston, the son of Ethridge Boyett and Linda Hilderbrand. He graduated from La Vega High School in 1991 and then attended McLennan Community College. On July 4, 2004, he was united in marriage to Nina Jane Kasik in West. Danny owned and operated Double B Truck & Trailer Repair in Waco. He enjoyed woodworking, dirt track racing. Danny especially loved children and teaching them different things. He was a member of West Brethren Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 10 years, Nina Boyett of Waco; a son, Cody Ledbetter and wife Jordan of Waco; his mother, Linda Sperlingas and husband Tom; his father, Dan Boyett; twin brother, William Boyett; half-brothers, Butch Boyett, Tony Boyett, Skipper Boyett, Richie Boyett and Shawn Boyett; half sisters, Linda Stanton, Tammy Gloub and Shannon Owens; a grandson, Hudson and a grandson on the way, Brazos; mother-in-law, Marguerite Kasik; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Zech Steen, Brandon Orr, Oliver Markwardt, John Kasik III, Jimmy Darnell and Richard Coburn. Honorary pallbearers are his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Danny Boyett Memorial Quilts for Brookhaven Boys Ranch.
