Lori Douglas, 50, of Columbus died 4:33 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at I.U. Health University Hospital.
Lori was born in Columbus February 17, 1965 the daughter of William R. and Ruby Moore Douglas. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was an accomplished and well-rounded athlete. She played on the Columbus East High School tennis team, loved mountain biking and water and snow skiing. She also loved animals. Lori was an artist, working as an interior designer in Chicago; she was also a chef and was a former manager of a restaurant in Chicago.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby M. Douglas of Columbus and aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral service is held at 1 p.m. Monday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th St. with Dan Wallace officiating. Calling will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial Garland Brook Cemetery.
