Born in Wilmington, Del., Mr Burton lived most of his life in Chester. He was educated in the Chester school system and worked as a laborer for various companies.
Mr Burton was the son of the late Norma E Seeney Burton, who died in 1964m the father of the late Vincent Burton, Jr, who died in 1990, and brother of the late Rufus McKinney.
