Alda Gwyn Brush Green of Wenatchee, Wash., passed into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at a local care facility. Alda succumbed to complications of Alzheimer's disease. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at Evergreen Baptist Church in Cashmere, Wash. Interment: 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, in East End Cemetery in Lingleville. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home. Alda was born Oct. 28, 1936, in De Leon. Before moving to Washington, Alda was a member of Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, where she sang in the choir for about 15 years. In October 1999 Alda and her husband, Jerry, moved to Cashmere, Wash. She faithfully served her Lord as the organist at Evergreen Baptist Church in Cashmere for many years. As an active member of the church, she performed many other duties of service for her Lord until the progression of Alzheimer's disease became too great. Survivors: Her husband of 28 years, Jerry Green; sister, Cherry Roberts of Joshua, and her children, Patricia Iris McKinley of Cleburne, Walter E. McKinley of Wentachee, Wash., Van McKinley of Houston, and Jan McKinley of Pawhuska, Okla.
