Leonardo "Lee" G. Garcia, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in Dallas at Baylor Medical Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Lee was born in Sinton, Texas, to the late Pedro and Estella Garcia. He spent his childhood in Sinton and moved to Corsicana in 1972. He married Vickie Lynn Cardwell in 1995. Lee retired from Chattanooga Glass Company and was currently employed with Pactiv at the time of his passing.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie; sons: Michael Garcia and wife, Annette, Steven Grandlund and wife, Lisa, Sean Hughes and Krystal McDuffy, and Chris Garcia and wife, Maria; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pedro "Pete" G. and Josephine Garcia, Alma Fira, Freddie and Debbie Rose Garcia, and Adam and Deborah Garcia; 11 nieces and nephews; and his animal companions, Kawla and Gizzy.
