Farmington, N.M. - Former Duncan, Okla. resident JERRY DEAN BYNUM, 61, of Farmington, N.M., went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 15, 2006, in San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Alternative Choice Chapel, 804 N. Dustin, Farmington.
Another memorial service will be held in Duncan at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Immanuel Baptist Church, Duncan, with the Rev. Buddy Hunt officiating.
Jerry was born June 22, 1944, in Duncan, to J.W. Bynum and Reba Robison. He worked as a mechanic in the oil field most of his life. Jerry also enjoyed bowling, woodworking, camping and fishing. He graduated from high school in 1963 in Duncan and moved to New Mexico in 1991. He married Joy Darlene Hardin on Feb. 26, 1966, in Duncan.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Troy Bynum of Enid, Okla.; a daughter, Joy Hoehler of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Trynton Laubach and Brandon Laubach of Houston, Jordan Bynum and Dakota Bynum of Enid, and Allison Hoehler and Jordan Hoehler of Louisville, Ky.
