Jane attended Pleasant Grove school and had a great love for children. She also attended East Carolina Teaching College in Greenville, North Carolina after which she dedicated 30 years of her life to public education and retired from the Alamance-Burlington school system where she taught second grade at E.M. Holt Elementary School.
Jane cherished her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and all the children in her family and those she taught in school.
Jane enjoyed golf with the girls in her early years and her passion for photography was highest on her list following her love for her family and grandchildren. Jane's loving nature touched and encouraged everyone.
She loved her church and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was very important to her that she nurture her family with love, compassion and grace.
Nancy Jane Chandler Webb, 76, of Elon, was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Duke Hospital, NC.
She was a life-long resident of Alamance County, NC and was interred at Long's Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery in Burlington. NC.
