For over twenty years she opened her home and allowed people to see the twenty elaborately decorated Christmas trees that she publicly displayed annually but kept decorated in her home year round. It became a Christmas tradition for many people in Maui County. Tourists also came from places all over the world to see her decorated trees and other collections, such as nativity scenes, Christmas villages, and 400 dolls. She had a big heart and loved the Christmas season.
