The Service of Remembrance for Mrs. Sarah Hunt, age 71, of Inverness, Florida, will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes with Pastor George Dehn officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Hooper Crematory, Inverness, Florida. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.HooperFuneralHome.com. Mrs. Hunt was born November 16, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Anthony and Frances (Mazzamuto) Castellano. She died May 17, 2015 in Gainesville, FL. She moved to Inverness, Florida from New York in 1970 and worked as a secretary for Willie's Drywall, retiring after 20 years of service. Mrs. Hunt was a member of Leroy Rooks V.F.W. Post 4252 Ladies Auxiliary and attended the House of Power, Hernando. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie C. Hunt and a brother, Benjamin Castellano. Survivors include a son, Victor Evangelista, daughter, Angela (Mike) Giddens, brother, Anthony Castellano, Jr. and sister, Angelina Reese, all of Inverness, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
